Good Morning. It's Monday 28th October, and here are the Leeds Utd headlines Yorkshire Derby ends in stalemate Both Leeds and the Wendies missed opportunities to climb to the summit of the Championship as the Yorkshire Derby ended goalless. Both sides has opportunities to to take maximum points, though if truth be known, a point each was a fair reflection. Even when Nketiah replaced Bamford at half time, the 20yo made sure that he showed the gaffer that he can track back, defend and tackle. Did he lose any of his natural game by doing this? It would be fair to say for the fourth game running Leeds didn't play particularly well! Why is this? Have the rest of the Championship found a way to nullify our threats? If so, why hasn't Bielsa made changes? It was reported at half time that Bamford had picked up a knock. I wonder whether the 26yo would have been substituted at half time if he hadn't? Thoughts? Soccer pundit Keith Andrews believes that Nketiah was lucky to stay on the field following an alleged elbow on Joey Pelupessy “Borderline red card,” he told Sky Sports. “If the referee sees that and the officials see that, he goes off. I don’t know if there’s any doubt about that. I don’t know whether it matters whether it’s intentional or unintentional, because that is reckless. “But I don’t want him to get sent off, so I’m glad because he’s trying to form his way in the game. He’s so young and this whole Bamford/Nketiah debate. It’s not good for him, it’s not good for Bamford. It’s not good for the team. So I’m glad the officials haven’t seen it. But if he does see it, I think he goes.” Bielsa explained Barry Douglas's absence from the Saturdays squad. "He felt something in the knee, but it's not important" The Scottish FA are considering banning U12's from headering the ball! Thoughts?
Good morning all... My concern over the past two games I’ve seen is that we haven’t looked great, we could have won or lost both, they didn’t look like the Leeds Bielsa style team we have come to expect but then they were top 6 teams and we were away. I think it’s a few under performing or even over trying and a few playing out of position along with the injuries. Costa hasn’t looked effective, Dallas is out of position, Berardi is solid but he scares me trying to play the ball out from the back and formation wise there is no bite. I’m not sure if Klich is supposed to be an attacking or defensive midfielder, likewise Dallas, Alioski scares me at LB too many stray balls and lightweight, I’d prefer seeing him further forward. We need Bielsa to fit both Bamford and Nketiah in the same team or play someone like Costa at 10. What I find strange in Bielsas reluctance to do so is the fact last season he was happy to play Roofe at 10 when game after game we could see it didn’t suit him yet this season he won’t try with Bamford Nketiah
Morning all pointless talking about Eddie and Bamford except to say its now obvious Bamford is ok and was brought off at half time to allow Eddie on. Bielsa never mentioned Pats ankle for me I think its time to shuffle the pack because Klich, Costa and Harrison havent done the biz for a few games. Still no Pablo, Shacks and Forshaw so Eddie out wide and helping Bamford, Costa or Roberts to No10 and Jack Clarke on the other side. Dallas isnt a No10
Morning all. Bank Holiday here and 3 hrs 50 mins till offy opens. In the end a point was fair enough, there will be teams who will lose to the Wendies. The two sides above us, we've drawn away and beaten. so no need for panicking. Saiz left for whatever reasons and its irrelevant thinking what if. Id rather talk about the players who still here. I didn't hear the scum are interested in Philips, but its probably just **** stirring to unsettle the player and wreck our promotion push. Eddie should start next game. At least he tried to add different aspects to his game. I still feel we need two strikers up front.
Morning All, KP to Scum - you do come up with some delightful thoughts Ell. It wouldn't do much for me. If he were to leave then anywhere other than Old Toilet.
Having thought about this for 20 Seconds if he was to leave I would to prefer him to go to victimpool and we get James Milner back?
