No, **** all to do with Var. But it seems more and more that the good people of the UK are fighting back against criminals, and yes some will get hurt. Here's the latest one from London, after they ram raided a jewellers
The business will be insured. There's no way I'd risk injury to myself by getting in the way of something like that. These do-gooders should get zero sympathy if they were to have a knife lodged in their throat by somebody desperate to get away.
Yeah I’d definitely only help if it was like an old woman getting mugged, it’s the right thing to do in that situation, plus the thugs have done all the hard work so if I didn’t have a quick rummage through her pockets I’d just be kicking myself for the rest of the day.
Uxbridge Road in Shepherds Bush I believe. I'm guessing the guys jumping on the robber are local shopkeepers, sticking up for their own. Fair play to em, you can't rely on the police to show up until it's too late.
No...I reckon he’s exactly the type to think he is the Law maker when he gets that uniform on...worst kinda Oink Bet he didn’t know it was being filmed.
I don't know plod procedure but it looks to me like he was slapping him on his side and most likely at the same time telling him to give up his right arm so that he can be cuffed.
Spurlock is right here. As much as we might want the coppers to be beating the **** out of certain offenders, if they ever did become a law unto themselves, we'd all be ****ed. See the great U S of A and what might happen if you bump into a cop having a bad day over there.
Nah, Saffy’s right. The job of the police is to uphold the law, which they can’t do if they have no respect for the law. The law says they can use reasonable force to restrain a criminal; most people would be pretty lenient in their interpretation of what constitutes reasonable force, but you can’t have Old Bill routinely putting the boot in, as a perk of the job.
I've got no problem with the general public giving somebody committing an offence, a good hiding. Don't want the coppers getting a taste of blood for it, though. We'd all be walking a tightrope then.
