Very happy with that first half, we could be further in front as well. Ayew everywhere. Hopefully we build on this and not surrender the lead again.
Thoroughly deserved win, the only disappointment was we didn't bury them on the scoreboard! I haven't seen many games this season but that must be the best we've played for 90 minutes for some time?
Yeah, shame that, rub it in even more Certainly at the end we could have had a couple bar some "glory hunting". Bristol City drawing at half time, would be nice for us if they didn't win.
Just getting back in - a deserved win. The recall of Dyer and Routledge, not forgetting Naughton, was a huge reason behind the win. Honourable mentions for VdH, Wilmot, Byers, Grimes, Celina & Ayew. If it were not for (in fairness understandable) greed in front of goal, we could have won by 3 or 4. Onwards and upwards!
Deserved win yes but two poor teams all the same....Plenty of work to be done yet and i still say we need a more experienced manager to do that....We were lucky that Cardiff are worst than us and we got a first half goal....3 points much needed but as for the rest of the season i dont know i think we will struggle with Cooper in charge...
Well I just got in from the game, and what a team of no hopers Kairdiff are, the worst Kairdiff team I have ever watched, the scoreline really did flatter them, I have to say our midfield was solid, Wilmot, Byers, Grimes, were superb today, shame we are lacking the clinical finish up front, both Celina and Ayew need to sort out their final touch, because Kairdiff were let off the hook today with this scoreline, should have been at least 3-0.............. There was no heart, no passion, and zero communication between the Kairdiff players, played like a bunch of dummies.........
