    Would prefer SA
    Firstly cause of my nature always assume worst and would not want to lose to any of home nations in final (if had been Irish wouldn’t have known who to cheer on lmao)
    Second if we can turn over SA that’s all of the major Southern Hemisphere teams in one tournament - bit like perfect hat trick :)

    We did all of that, and carried the drinks on two trays. Stunning. Dunno why, because it's a middle-class game, but I've always had more affinity and support for England rugby teams than football ones. Would prefer SA because Wales have done us a few times in recent years, tbh.

    Middle class game maybe but I've played against Liverpool collegiate,St Eddie's old boys,Sefton and Speke old boys and I can assure you non of them were middle class.

    I went to De La Salle - I don't remember if they played rugby there, but I never. We did play cricket though.
    I think all these "class" tags on sport are outmoded, tbh. We used to play cricket and football in the street.

    Yep. My old feller did his apprenticeship at Cammell Laird and he played cricket for Liverpool on Sefton Park. Real ****ing snob who went to Old Swan tech <laugh>
