I think Rob has a point, there will have been a lot of people ( many who didn’t or wouldn’t ever admit it) who voted leave in the belief it would stop the flow of immigrants from Europe. It was well documented at the the time as a key voting point.
And so it should be the amount of crime in the UK has increased massively and a lot of it is due to immigration and people that don’t abide by our laws.

Even Farage (who is accused as a racist all the time) says he doesn't want to stop immigration. He just wants it controlled.

All you have to do is look at the cesspit of comments on any Daily Mail article on Facebook, or go to any 'laddy' pub in Bristol to see that it is a prime issue for some (not all) leavers, and many of them operate under the impression that Brexit will put a stop to it. The wonderful thing is that Red Robin has actually just liked your post, and then in his very next post go on to prove my point correct! This is all ignoring the wonderful irony that no deal Brexit actually gives us less control over immigration as we have absolutely zero power to stop anyone coming in from the EU still. I'm not painting leavers as racists - the vast majority have totally justifiable concerns over immigration, but some absolutely don't. You've pretty much summed up what I meant with my throwaway comment here to be fair OS. And I'm not referring to the 'masses' of leavers at all, but let's not pretend that you don't get some daft idiots who still want to deport all Muslims for example and that sort of crap. A minority I know, but they exist (as do daft remainers as well).
