I'm watching it, I live in Canada though.

It's very "tactical" and American's take pride in that, though they need to slow the game down to 1/20th the pace of real football, and talk to their coach every 20 seconds to understand and take note of these tactics.

i am a fan of it but not a die hard fan of it like i am for football.

the problem it has is it has to many rules, so unless you want to spend about an hour talking about the rules with people who know the game, dont bother....lol

My rant:

I know I am a sad twat for watching it, but I was watching the start, the national anthems and what have you, and typical of the Americans, they turn it into a 'lets show off America' show.

They ****ing **** over that **** red and white flag, they need to get a grip. Its a ****ing fake football game and they start showing clips of Martin Luther King. What tossers the American broadcasters are.

So, as soon as they stopped ****ing over America, and their terrible National Anthem which makes no sense had finished, the game started.

I have no idea what is going on, I am supporting the ones in white as they have a little big of black n white on the go, but since when is running the ball out of play, an advantage to the team that ran the ball out? Stupid man!

Rant over!

God Save The Queen!

badger you mean the pittsburgh steelers lol

like i said above its the rules are just crazy, a few weeks back i was trying to tell a friend about the offside rule......after about 10 mins i gave up....haha

i have to be honest i wasnt a fan of it when i first saw it but after learning the rules, the tactical side of it,rushing etc.....i slowely got into it.

I was heavily into it in the 80's, used to have Superbowl parties one of which ended up gong on for 4 days, doesn't seem to have the excitement that it did but I am settled in for the long haul tonight.

I hate the commercialism and the massive hype around it, but American Football isn't that bad. It seems like one of those games that's a lot more fun to play than watch

basically yes.

it depends at which stage of the season there season ends, so if a team loses all 16 regular games, they get the 1st draft pick selections, and if a team that makes the playoffs and get beat they get the 14-16th draft pick round, and the team thats wins the superbowl gets the last draft pick round ...e.tc.

black eyed peas are this years half time show..

but companies pay nearly £2.5M for a 30 second advert.

green bay are now 21-3 up, so looking good for a packers win.
