NY has every type of restaurant you can hope for. Just stick clear of the Times Sq ones which tend to be expensive and trying to appeal to all cultures which means nothing is very authentic. Those family Italian restaurants are great - very much a New York take on Itslian food but loads of history associated with them as well and some of the waiters seem like they have been around since they opened. Love the diners for breakfast but there is no way you can eat until the evening if you go for that. Queens is good for Asian restaurants.
One holiday in the States our daughter who loved that show would only allow us to eat in restaurants that had featured. They have a website that shows where nearest one is. Good fun but I was about 6kg heavier and sweating grease by the time we left.
I'm gonna have Aldi fishcakes, cos they are superb, not the frozen ones. Cheese and onion mash. Carrots, peas and brocolli, Will post this bag of **** later, and expect the customary 'it's ****'.
I had some of those yesterday. They were in breadcrumbs and filled with cheese. Had them in a bap. Or barm if that’s what you northerners call them.
Fish cakes in a bap/bun works. Done a cheese and onion mash, no doubt it will be called plastic cheese, despite being a aldi mature cheddar. Been and done a little bit of shopping, random little things like yorkie batter mix, dumpling mix, cornflour, veg, things i always forget.
Made some shepards pies Pork and beef mince Red onions Carrot Sweetcorn Mash made with butter, tub of double cream, some garlic and herbs and cheese on top
Shepherds pie is lamb mate. The clue is in the name! Beef is cottage pie. **** knows where the pork comes into it though. None of them have sweetcorn in you ****ing heathen.
