I’ll be honest, I thought we were lucky, yes we had some chances but specially in the second half they were by far the better team. We looked lightweight, wasted the ball, poor passing, White and Casilla a class above the rest.
Eddie created 2 chances, one for himself and one for Harrison, should have done enough to start and as Bamford had an injury, he just might, unless Bielsa's watching a different game again.
Agree didn't see much of the first half but thought 2nd half we looked about as average as I've seen us look under Mr B. We need some midfield creativity. It's not like they thrashed us but if they'd got one of their chances I wouldn't have thought we'd been robbed. Still a points a point and might be needed in long season - just a shame it looks like West Brom might pull away when was hoping that would be us.
Bielsa after match - Nketiah made an impact in the second half as he created chances and ran hard for the team. That one line spells out why Bielsa hasn’t been picking him. Let’s hope he starts next game.
Beckford asked who he’d pick, Bamford or Nketiah he said he can’t see why we don’t play 5-3-2 and play both.
If he said that then he has a chance of starting. In my view the lad is class. It’s probably true (no, definitely true, as Bielsa says it) that he’s a lot to learn but you can see he is quality.
