Quite a negative line up for a home match mind u its the same line up every week. Not sure what boufal has done wrong. How armstrong doesnt get a look in with that midfield is beyond me. Lets hope they are up for it
I felt when Gordon Strachan left, that the club should have done whatever it took at the time to persuade him to stay; imo we took a wrong turn there and paid the price. I hope history isn’t about to do what your username suggests it always does.
No problem with that line up personally. 3 CBs and two actual FBs against a Leicester side that are lethal on the counter. We’ll be needing a big contribution from PEH and JWP - we’ll definitely get one from Oriel, but can they play as a unit? Ings and Redders up front - well it’s not Mane and Pelle but it will have to do.
In this system I think they can, as they did for effectively for most of the second half of last season.
No issues with that lineup for me. Defence is simply too poor to play 2 CB's against anyone with a bit of quality up top. Worry about Vestergaard in this weather mind.
Just seen a reference to Peter Shelton scoring against the Saints, when playing for Leicester. It’s a bit windy tonight.....
The right line up to choose. Come on Saints get that elusive win at home . Romeu winner or however we can to get across the line!
If anyone wants cheering up, just seen this beauty on Sky. We've won two PL games this season, it took us 17 games to win two games last season
Had the chance to go tonight being only an hour away for work. Still refusing to pay a penny towards the club until Gao leaves so sky sports for me In terms of team selection I'm a bit baffled. JWP and/or PEH need dropping. They've done **** all this season, yet seem ever present. I get the impression Ralph can't really be arsed.
