Bollo, I agree. Can't argue with that, but can you say that the member clubs shouldn't be moaning to the SFA about ****e referees? Like I said these ****s nearly went on strike to get a pay rise then act like incomptent dummies. I disagree with Celtics timing and handling of this affair, if the leak was intentional (which it probably was) But I don't disagree with Celtic going to the SFA to pull them up about the standard of officiating. Why have so many managers spoken out against the quality in public if the integrity of the league wasn't already in question? Hughes, Laszlo, Levein, Smith, Strachan, Mowbray, Gannon and McPherson have all made it clear that the standard is pish. Are you more qualified than them in saying the SFA are bringing the standard of the Scottish game down?

There is probably a point in saying the standard of refereeing in Scotland is pish, but would it not be better waiting until the end of the season, and then having a serious enquiry into the situation and possible solutions. This is just the wrong time and way to go about it, and will give the more loonie fringes of both supports something to increase the frenzy around this game.

If it's a consensus of mangers to say the standard of officiating in scotland is poor (which it is) then yes but when conspiracy is shouted then you lose all dignity & right to be taken serious as far as I'm concerned! I don't recall Celtic complaining about last season when we were done out of points. Sure it was hard to take that day after the football but mistakes are made no matter what country you play in. You just need to get on with it! I'm actually sick of supporting football due to this horrible horrible debate. I get so easily dragged into this as it pisses me off big time!

Cheers ya prick! I'm not disagreeing with anything you've said I suppose and all your points are valid. Celtic though are just trying to cover the fact that their pish this season. If they spoke generally about the standard across the board then they would have back up but as it's solely them they feel are being done by I think they can go **** themselves. Something needs to be done about the refs yes, but work with the rest of the teams and you won't come across paranoid!
I agree with the paranoia thing. I've posted a couple of threads on here about Celtic fan-sites and them being a breeding ground for paranoiac morons. Someone with some patter writes up an article full of "facts" and "evidence" that proves refs are biased and half-wits fall for it. It embarrasses folk like me who really don't want to be associated with that. The problem with football is that it's so popular you're always going to get a selection of ****s. I liken it to T in the Park or other music festivals where 95% are there to have a good time and get along and the other 5% are the ****s who are there with the express agenda of acting like a ****

i always try and avoid paranoid statements when it comes to football simply because i like noising my celtic mates up about how crazy there are, i was struggling a bit a couple of years ago during the fixtures pile up but it's all come good again so are you in the 5 or the 95 percentile venom? on a random note the MD of my company just sent me this pic it all goes in the leverage file.
