I hope he suffers. I hope he can't sleep at night. I hope he never feels safe. I hope he feels like someone might do the same to him at all hours.

.I'd be interested to know if he had a record in Poland for assault, left there and rocked up on our shores. Not that it will bring Libby back.

 

I think the word will be out on him very quickly. First he's a foreign national that has seemingly murdered and raped a British national a young woman and then sickeningly disposed of the body. Second, he has a history and has been charged with many other sexual offences. If it is found out that he ran away form Poland for committing similar offences, 'the system' will soon know about it. There will not be a day when he will sleep or dare close his eyes..

 

Blimey, nothing like innocent 'til proven guilty. ****ing in the street and nicking a few dildos is weird stuff but rape and murder is something else. He's been arrested and released once already, might the evidence be questionable? If it's proven that he's done it I hope he gets as much as the law can throw at him, otherwise he's not guilty.

 

Edit: On second thought this may have been a little extreme in the off chance one of the girls family or friends reads this thread.

It’s got to be one of those cases where they knew he did it but any loophole he could jump out of has to be closed before taking it any further.

 

Well, you say that but equally it could be that they have no other suspects so lets pin it on this fella however we can. It's not unheard of...

I think in a situation like this you think if this was one of your family what you would like to do to them. It must torture her parents for the rest of their lives and the times you read some young bloke in his twenties has murdered someone yet in their forties they are walking the streets. I'm not saying that will happen in this case but nothing surprises me with our laws.

 

He got something like 8 years for the minor w*nking offences so you would think he'll get a very long stretch for this.

 

So why was he not just charged with murder? For him to be charged with rape would suggest to me that the authorities have some kind of sexual DNA.

I would wait until I knew he was guilty before I decided what the punishment should be.

I also wouldn’t hang him even if he was found guilty because I’ve seen too much evidence of cases which have turned out to have been miscarriages of justice later on and once you’ve killed someone it’s pretty tricky to right that wrong.

However I do think that for such a horrific murder life should mean life. No parole, no release.

that way if there was later proof of innocence then it could be righted...and if there wasn’t then the guilty person would be kept away from society forever.

I think he'd be at home in FS or another other nick....If what I hear is 'correct' those places are full of foreign nationals from east Europe who end up there.

 

I agree in some cases , but What about ones where there is no doubht? Ian Huntley , the Bulger killers etc , they should be executed immediately so they stop wasting our oxygen
