Did Emery inherit Wenger's "I was going to sign x before y team did" bullshitting when he took his job? please log in to view this image
Were you at St Mary's when Theo made his debut against Wolves? It's fair to say he came on and lit the place up. Coincidentally, I was at The Emirates for his Arsenal debut against Villa - he did the same thing then. I think it's fair to say he never quite fulfilled that early promise.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50170659 Massey's never done a European game? She's been part of the Select Group since 2011, though there was a bit of a gap. One of the few linos that I actually expect to get things right, honestly.
The 0-0 draw in our first Championship game? Yeah I was a STH at the time. My main memories of Theo are him getting 2/3 chances per match due to his pace but hardly ever scoring.
I always thought that Walcott was wasted tbh. Never a winger for me, couldn't cross a ball. Should have been played up the middle, off the main striker. Lightning quick and a decent finisher.
Quite surprised to see he only scored 4 from 21 appearances for us in his first season. That’s not really how I remember him. He was ****ing electric when he came on in that Wolves game though.
With wolves and united winning and Arsenal odds on to win it'll mean all 7 English clubs have won in Europe this week...has that happened before?
From the BBC live thread: Kieran: A penalty won United’s goal of the month for September. Martial better make space on the mantelpiece. How many have they had this season? Seems like a lot.
Very impressed with Brandon Williams tonight. One Luke Shaw, part worn, part divkid... no service history, dribbling fat mess, free to a good or a bad home.
