I read the "39 bodies found in a lorry!" Holy Christ.....and from Bulgaria too! This has happened to Mexicans hidden in lorries too!
The fact that their "apology" basically states what we already know, that Priti Patel is a smirking bitch, isn't the backside-cover they seem to think it is Still, could be worse, we also have the latest batshittery from Jo Swinson...
Do not share this tweet with any of those weirdos on Twitter with a yellow glyph in their profile And definitely don't share this one either
The more Lib Dem votes there are then the more likely it is that the Conservatives will lose. Swinson can't afford to support Labour too much because she mainly needs centrist Tories to switch to her.
And she's basically a pro-EU Tory herself. She's voted with them more than Boris, the Conservative Prime Minister.
Probably true. But there is no way the country is going to elect a properly left wing or green government. The best we can hope for is a centre left alliance and that depends on Tories switching to the Lib Dems and many Labour voters voying tactically. It was in the hands of Labour voters in the south to defeat the Tories in the last election but they chose not to.
With the state of the media at the moment, it's just not going to happen. Leveson 2 is desperately needed, at the very least.
READ ALL ABOUT IT! he Capone Mob..oops,sorry! The Trump Mob invade a close door session to complain about the naughty Democrats asking about Capone's...oops sorry! Trump's screwups that could lead to his impeachment and helping prove he's one corrupt s.o.b. Strange that the Mob left their Tommy guns at home! They say the difference between Trump and Capone was Capone killed people! Well hold it there.....Trump responsible for over 3,000 weather related deaths in Puerto Rico because he wouldn't help them (they are part of the USA!). Left the Kurds to be butchered by the Turks by removing American "peace keepers!" Stopped shipment of weapons to Ukraine for them to defend themselves...….. Amazingly, some Americans love him. They'd probably love Hitler too,if he was Republican!!!!
They literally committed crimes and posted the evidence of them doing so on the internet. Entering a SCIF with an unsecured device is a national security risk. They used their mobile phones to post to Twitter while in there.
To be fair, that's not difficult: the proven liar didn't deign to be an MO until 2015 On the other hand, between 2010-15 she voted with the Tory whip more than Hunt or Gove...but it's a "personal attack" to bring up her voting record, rather than "due diligence" as anyone not born yesterday calls it
That's the issue: Swinson isn't looking to cost the Tories votes, she's trying to nick votes off Labour Case in point, rather than have Luciana Berger stand in Liverpool Wavertree where she's (presumably) get annihilated in the polls, they parachuted her into the marginal Finchley & Golders Green constituency where the Tories currently have a 1600 majority over Labour, while the Lib Dems didn't even get their deposit back two years ago - and given how predictable the Lib Dems are, with Swinson's response to her MPs leading to Boris Johnson winning his first-ever Commons votes by their abstaining by a single vote to be "B-b-b-but Coryn's an antisemite" we can guess what their strategy for that seat will be Similar can be said for some of their other recent pick-ups Chuka Umunna's being parachuted into Cities of London & Westminster, where the Tories have a narrow majority Angela "Funny Tinge" Smith's being parachuted into Altrincham & Sale West, where the Tories have a decent majority ...although funnily enough, Sarah Wollaston, Heidi Allen and Sam Gyimah have 10,000+ majorities and for some reason are defending their seats. Hmm, can't think why...
I’m sure, like any party leader, Swinson will try to take votes from wherever she can. Personally, I can see many moderate Tory voters, especially those who voted to remain in the EU, switching their votes to LibDem. Basically, the more moderate and remain elements of both major parties could well be attracted to her party.
I can see plenty of voters in East Dunbartonshire switching their vote to SNP - which will be pretty funny on election night when Jo Swinson has to explain where the so-called Lib Dem surge went in what was previously her constituency
The Sweaties will go almost exclusively SNP. They’ve had enough of both main parties. The SNP know it and that’s why they’re so keen on an election. Swinson will pick up votes from the moderate and remain voters all over the country.
Boris wants a General Election to try to gain a majority and therefore take back control of Parliament. But where are the extra seats coming from?. I can't see Labour seats becoming Tory just because a majority there might want Brexit. However, the odd seat here and there may be won by the Brexit Party as a protest vote; there will be marginal seats which could go in any direction and the SNP will probably obliterate the other parties in Scotland. Whatever happens, it's hard to see the Tories getting a majority.
Two reasons why they won't 1.) All nineteen of their MPs abstaining on a vote to keep the NHS separate from any Britait deal. When even the Faragists consider the NHS a red line and want Trump to keep his orange, clammy, semen-scented hands off of the NHS, the Lib Dems not voting for this - and in the process handing Boris Johnson his first-ever Commons win - makes nineteen seats at the next election an easy lay-up for Labour and SNP candidates 2.) Last week Swinson said her MPs would vote in favour of the proven liar's bill. Admittedly this was on the proviso that a second referendum would be tacked on, but this only shows an appalling level of political naivete on Swinson's part as what exactly would prevent the proven liar saying "What second referendum?" the second he got his deal through parliament? Either way, she looks either like someone willing to support the Tories or a gullible idiot...which admittedly fits in the FBPE foghorns that make up their support base, but that's routinely failed to be reflected in any by-elections this year
