Just imagine the pace and drive we are gonna have in our team when he is back....I am a very excited Tiger! COME ON YOU 'ULL EIEIEIEIOOOOO!
We really need to win the next two games, the matches following that are looking pretty tough. Time to prove we're real promotion contenders. If the defence keep it up, I can see our form taking us to the end of October being 3-2-1. That said, we don't draw much these days!
It certainly is an exciting prospect, the thought of have Brady on one flank and Stewart on the other. These two have pace to burn and will be flying down the wings to hopefully put lots of hopeful balls, just wish had a bit more height up front. Oli would also be a great addition to the squad but as I 've said before I think he will leave in January. If we can beat 2nd bottom of the league (Bristol) and then bottom (Donny) we could up to as high as 2nd or 3rd dependant on other results. Cant believe Donny have only managed 1 draw from all their games so far having lost ALL the rest !!! UTT
Oli would bring us a certain bunch of solidity but I dont think we can rely on him coming back into the team yet, to get 3 wins on the bounce in this league is something special don't change whats not broken I suppose, but it doesnt stop me from being excited about Stewart
I would normally agree but sometimes there's need for change despite good form. I can't offer an explanation for why this occurs (apart from the fact that maybe the opposition figures us out) but I seem to recall, on a few occasions, Nigel sticking with the same team after a win or two, which backfired. Don't ask me for examples, I can't really remember, I just remember thinking we should change it up slightly at the time, regardless of form.
Hold on there chaps, this is City were on about!!! History shows we play ****e against teams we should murder. Watch us lose the next 2 games. You know it will happen.
Don't base anything on history. We hadn't been in the Premier League in our 104-year-history, it didn't mean we couldn't get there. Be positive! Should be grabbing all six points but I'd be pretty happy with four. Teams drop points so often in this division, four should suffice.
I'd take a point against Bristol City, they work hard at home and while they have been out of form recently, they are always a danger with Maynard leading the line. So with that in mind I'll go for 1-1. Against Donny, I think our passing movement will get their midfield addled and I think Brady will have too much for their fullbacks. Without Sharp, they look lost for goals so I'll go for 3-0.
4 points from the next 2 games would be a good return. Next month we play Cardiff, Brighton, Watford and Forest (Brum off due to Europa league for them). The first 2 games look the hardest, but it think it'll be November that presents us with our biggest test with games against West Ham, Derby, Southampton then Leicester at the start of December.
Brady needs to know when to run and when to cut in a little better...... We could have two great wingers if they both use their brains as well as their pace
Brady would be more effective on the left IMO but maybe NP likes Koren cutting in from the left as his goal on Saturday suggests
We have to remember the last time we played away at Bristol we were beaten 3-0 however, we had nothing to play for that day. With our away form like it is, I think us fans dont expect anything less than a draw as we just don't lose! And, with our history of getting managers sacked could it be the end of Keith Millen?
