NYE is forced fun, you must have fun it's new years eve, we have a countdown and everything. **** that, Christmas is good for the kids, plus time off, halloween and bonfire night aren't too bad. bonfire night, I like the food.
On a setriots note, it has a lot to do with where you are in life.... many 'occasion' days are now spoilt by commercially for me ...
New Years is ****. Going out is too expensive. The last 5 new years has consisted of me watching TV with the wife, her falling asleep, me going on the computer to watch something on Youtube and then hearing fireworks outside and thinking to myself "Huh, must be midnight" and turning back to my PC. And then new years day is just the day before I have to go back to work.....gay..... Christmas day, I eat like a pig, drink like a fish, and have fun with the fam, so Christmas Day it is.
Has to be National Moss Appreciation day, or any one of the Pagan events where chicks get naked and dance around a load of old rocks.
Son perignon Champagne lane Pauline fowler and dot cotton fam. This guys is so funny, honestly. Ffs wrong thread Cba changing it now
October 6th (Badger Day) is my favourite holiday. Started out celebrating it as a joke in our family when we found out there was a Badger day (we have a cat named Badger because he has a badger striped nose)... But now it's a big event in our family. We spoil the cats rotten that day and eat black and white food. Black beans and rice for dinner. Two layered cake, chocolate and vanilla. Black and White biscuits... Pretty much black and white everything. So my vote is Badger Day.
NYE always a right laugh party hopping. Xmas eve with kids and piss up down local even better than Xmas day
I try to enjoy every day, easier said than done. My reasoning for this is that the only guarantee in life is inevitability death, what better reason to party everyday, bring it motherfuckers.
Finishing work for the year day is always a decent day. Usually a half day and a bag full of goodies off the suppliers, then go home and get smashed. Birthdays was the worst days, now we sip champagne when we thirstaaaaaay!
Looking forward to that this year, actually get a decent period of time off for the first time in years.
