Are you mancs really blind ****s? How was rooneys goal not a fluke it flicked back onto one of your players knees and landed right at his feet, Nani's goal was offside, smallings was offside, that wern't a penalty it was a dive and Ashley coles tackle on your little mexican kid was bad? i thought it was the best tackle i've ever seen, wish he would of broke his leg. Anyway enjoy thinking you've won the title after 5 games but unfortunately it don't work like that and you won't get that luck every game.
And you keep going on about our " old " players but A.Cole, Terry and Lampard would all walk into your team and piss over Evra, Vidic/Ferdinand/Jones/Evans and Anderson/Carrick.
But at the end of the day as you all say, 3-1 thats all that matters you won we lost. If it was the other way round though and we had that luck i'm sure you'd all be saying the same things.

So what you're saying is Chelsea players crack under pressure?

Alternatively, Berb's shot was cleared off the line from a tight angle, Torres missed the goal from six yards out...but just keep telling yourself it's all the same ;)

That time of the month again? <ok>

I will accept United deserved to win the game, I will not accept that the result reflected on how we BOTH played the game <ok>. Cracking game to watch and United are a force to be reckoned with and good luck for the season, may the best team win the league. Just remember it's not over yet and try and see this game in our shoes.

For all of Torres's supposed quotes about Chelsea not playing quick football, I'm sure you are all glad that you played with such a high tempo. <ok>

I agree with that - had both teams been equally clinical the game would probably have ended 5-4 to Utd or even 5-5 which shows how close it was. That said, it's hard to guess how the game would have gone had it been tighter at half time and we'd had to chase for the win.

P.S. Does anyone know how Cole got booked but didn't concede a penalty? Bizarre decision there!!

it was a game which could have been any score. I'm not sure it will bring us much confidence, or knock yours. It just seems like one of those games that if it wasn't between the top 2, would have gone unnoticed. Just a weird game. I thought i'd be super confident if we beat chelsea today, but it's worried me more than anything with how bad fletch and carrick were.

Take away the offside goals, give us our virtual open goals, give you your pen and open goals then it's 4-3 to you lot and I would've gracefully accepted that result <ok>

I agree with the Cole thing, surely it should be all or nothing in that situation - I honestly didn't think it was as bad as some people made out aswell.

I also thought Phil Jones was MOTM, if Torres scored that open net it possibly could've been him. Fletcher had a good game too despite what Jezz has said, only lost the ball a fingerfull of times.

The ball was dead, i.e. out of play so the ref can't give a peno but should have red carded Cole for reckless tackle. <ok>

Ashley Cole made the challenge on Javier Hernandez after the ball was out of play, hence why it could not have been a penalty. I don't think there was anything malicious in it from Cole though. It looked to me like he went to block the ball rather than challenge Hernandez, but the Mexican was fast like a shot and Cole ended up clattering in to him. At the speed that Hernandez was going at and the fact that it was goal scoring opportunity, Cole had to put his body on the line to stop it.

Spot on <ok>. A defender preventing a goal and maybe miss-timing it a little but I don't think he went in with intention to harm

I agree. Don't think it was malicious, Cole just came in late.
