Magennis tackle for the red was very poor. An area of the pitch where he really didn’t need to make that sort of tackle. It was a straight red offence.
Be nice to get a bit of humble pie eating from those who had made their minds up about Grant McCann after Saturday. He gambled with the midfield changes and it worked so deserves a lot of credit tonight.
Super performance - no weak links. Toral, Magennis and Elder were particularly impressive. Oh actually there was a weak link. Norbert looked worse than a bastard child of Nick Deacy and Proschwitz.
I thought he was great. Stupid red, yes, but overflowing with passion. I don’t think that tackle was deliberately dirty. It was just a really crap forward’s tackle.
I never expected to wake up to this result, feared the worst before the game, and as usual when you least expect it they turn in a performance like that. I guess that is why the Championship is such an interesting league, anyone can beat anyone. It sounds as if there were many good performances, it's a pity McGennis got himself sent off, now he is starting to find the net. So pleased for John Toral, 2 assists and to get through the game unscathed, he in many ways is a player we have missed, one that can set up goals with his passes. Callem Elder seems to have had a good game, Phil Buckingham giving him MOTM. Lopes also did well by the sound of it, I've liked what I have seen of him so far, let's hope he can kick on from here.
