Where are these loads of complaints you speak of? I see none, certainly not in that 12 day spell. Why are you being so evasive? Did you really not have a sound reason for banning him?
Wasn't 2011, it was 2013. Us moderators take our jobs very responsibly. When there are calls for somebody to be banned, we look into their previous history so we can get an entirely balanced view. I do have to say that WJ's post in 2013 asking for Clive to be banned certainly played a part in his removal from this board, as did the PM's that were sent to us asking for his banning!
The more you interfere & obfuscate in this simple question leads me to believe that you actually did ask for him to be banned. Why else would you be so obstructive in a matter that has not been addressed to you?
Was he told he could change his name and come back ? Had his ban been lifted ? My guess is no to both.
How do you know he wasn't banned for life ?. Should have been, idiot, abusive and not a Leeds fan, refusing to answer WJs questions and generally upsetting him. I'm sure WJ will have thanked the mods for reacting so fast and protecting him.
I believe there's a reason for everything, maybe this has come up now because WJ forgot to thank the mods at the time, and he might like to do it now.

He changed his name and came back without having his ban lifted. What more reason do you want, as the instigater of the first ban, had you asked for him to be allowed back ? I'm just showing my appreciation of the wonderful job the mods did keeping the wum off here, and would like to thank them. And you as they couldn't have done it without your imput.
