remember his first games, got a lot of (deserved) bad press, i always thought that the lad was just trying too damn hard...once he settled and steadied himself down he improved each game, even out of position. the lad just loves being here and wants to make people happy, if he keeps improving at the rate he is currently he could be a very important player for us for a good while yet.
His attitude, his commitment and general all round personality is superb. Think hes an excellent advert for any aspiring young player on how you should behave on and off the field. Sort of lad youd like to take home to meet your mam.. if you were a lass. Or if you were a bloke to be fair...
He's my favourite player at minute like. Always grafts and plays with a smile on his face. Cracking lad other players should take note

As lee Clark said tonight you need to be a strong character to play for big clubs with a big expectation .Regardless of your ability if you can’t handle the mental pressure it’ll crush you . O’9 seems to have the correct type of character
