I like Dallas but it’s not his best position... we’re juggling with Pablo, foreshaw and Shackleton unavailable. We weren’t fluid but were still better than them, so can’t complain too much. agree re klich... made the same point myself a few times recently. By way of example, He made an important tackle , immediately turned and made a lung bursting run half way up the pitch into a space he knew had just been vacated, received the ball, held it up and set up a really good chance for alioski.
I think this is our best bet going forward without Pablo, Stuart isn't producing enough in CM, and Costa can't be relied on to provide the creativity we need. I think Bamford has crumbled under the pressure of being the Leeds no.9 - he may not think so, as apparently he's a very self-confident lad, but an 8 game non-scoring run is nearly 20% of the season and tells it's own tale. We have nothing to lose by starting Nketiah now and bringing Bamford on as the super sub, might also be the kick up the arse he needs (no frustration visible here at all,ok ). A spell on the bench and regaining his touch in the U23s might be best for him now, his composure is now non-existant while Nketiah is on fire. Sad to see as we lack goals across the squad.
