What's the full story to this? Is it his mam's mam? Does she still live here? Why aren't his nana's kids from Hull?
Can't answer all of the above, but his nana lives down Sharp st off Poland ave,and Liam is known to visit her all the time.
My nan's from Hull; cremated in Hull; ashes buried in Hull. My mam's from Hull; cremated in Hull; ashes buried in Hull. I'm from Hull (born Wetherby, due to WWII); not dead yet.....
(Suggested correction, O Big Bopper: Poland Street? in Soho) ....and I guess our chum has named it 'Poland' Ave, due to number of Polish peops thereabouts? Like 'Springbankistan'?
I stand corrected, obviously it is Poland Street, I should know, I spent two nights a week round there for about ten years.
His nan moved to hull either when he was young or b4 he was born she not fron hull but he used to spend xmas in hull his aunt also lives in hull he did an interview for 1904 mag and explained it all
I've always been "PC", it's one of my, if not the only, redeeming features. I deliberately avoided the use of the word "racist" though, as it gets banded about so often it's lost all meaning.
Ok mate no worries.I just don't want to be seen as racist. Im not ignorant at all,so it kind of pisses me off when someone says that to me.
His nanna is called Kath and she resides in the Beverley Road/Newland Avenue area. She used to work for social services but has now retired. Think thats about enough information people need without breaching her privacy
Used to see his Nan in the Oddbottle (Think they called it the Wolds at the time), at the time daughter was with Leroy, Liam`s dad, and he was I believe at West Ham (may be mistaken tho), but being frozen out due to the fact that despite him scoring regularly for them in his first appearances, he would have activated a clause that required further payment in his transfer payment agreements and they didn`t want to pay it. I know I kept asking Liam`s nan to put in a good word for us to see if we could get him here at the time. Funny how things come full circle in the end. Would have loved his dad playing for us as well, quality striker in his day.
Or maybe its like a bad joke when somebody threatens to break your legs hey Kempton ??? Which people dont find funny unless your sick or F***ED in the head.
On your other thread (1-0 Hull City) I was going to suggest it... But this one is better: "Calm down, dear!"
