  1. Have a look at their board -

top two articles are about Phil Dowds accusation of match fixing and about Barton's tackle.

    Sad, sad bastards.

It's different when Chamakh dives and wins a pen...

They have the most red cards in the prem dont they? Ironic that they would single out "dirty" players.

I like how when Ben Arfa gets assaulted (no other way of putting it) its a great tackle but then a genuinely great tackle from Barton is a straight red card.

Or how Barton can recklessly challenge a player who has had his career blighted by injuries from bad tackles but get away with it because he touched the ball first.

Got the ball first.. not touched it first.

Footy isn't a non-contact sport you know. It was a good footballing challenge, nobody was injured either.

It's just you lot have an amazing amount of talent... but no respect, heart or discipline.

    Get over it.

"Touched"? Whilst it wasn't a clean tackle, he went for the ball whilst no other player was in the way. There was no intention to injure any other player and he rightfully won the ball. Yikes... and to think we get called deluded. <doh>

So are players with bad injury records not allowed to be tackled? In that case you'd think Owen's career wouldnt be taking such a nosedive.

Barton "if the Arsenal players dont want to be tackled, they can go play basketball or netball"

Watch it again. Did Barton really need to follow through like that? The intent was to hurt or wind up Diaby, something that he succeeded in. Sorry, you can say deluded and that we have a persecution complex all you want, but Barton should have at least been booked for it.

p.s. You're obviously part of the minority that share that opinion. Obviously neither the ref or the linesmen agree. Even the pundits on MOTD said it was a good tackle.

you obviously never saw Diaby's tackle near half time on Barton he couldn't help but follow through, was a foul but never got booked. Barton's intent was to win the ball which he did, have you ever played football before at any level

Won the ball, seems the only people who think it was a dirty tackle are Arsenal fans

atleast our players go to tackle players with the ball unlike a certain Nickolas Bender

Oh for gods sake that was ages ago and I don't think it made that much difference to the final result anyway. Actually wait did you even realise what you just said? All through the second half you were blocking off our players if they made intelligent runs! Did you even watch the match?

I'd like to stand up for the majority of Arsenal fans I've spoken to over the weekend, most have held their hands up and agree they capitulated in the 2nd half. But looking on here and people coming up with conspiracy theories that Phil Dowd is getting done for match fixing is utter tosh.
Asene Wenger is just getting ridiculous now, how can he such a good manager but apparently doesn't watch the games because whenever there's an incident involving an Arsenal player he never sees it. Though in his interview on MOTD he mumbled and looked at the ground with no conviction when he did his usual "I didn't see the incident" Harry Rednapp had it right a couple of months ago when he said Wenger had well and truly joined the nutters.
