I was just pointing out that the 8 second clip was not about the current call for a second referendum.
In a referendum you would be walking a tightrope in saying you need 60% or whatever for us to do what you want us to do, plus you could have a situation where, for example, leave got 60.1% and we would be in exactly the same position as we are now. I appreciate you saying that even at 50.1%-49.9% you would accept the result but I think you are in a huge minority among those who want to remain. Jo Swinson has already stated that she will never give up. The #fbpe nutcases on Twitter would never accept the result either. For my part, if we had voted to remain I would have been disappointed but would have moved on. I wanted the question to be asked.
think anyone with brain cells in the plural, which is most but by no means all on here, knows why we had a referendum... so the tories could get rid of UKIP. ... politically motivated, not done in the public interest... They’ve long been a controversial constitutional instrument for that reason. First time we’ve had a referendum where the result didn’t go the way intended. And thus bringing parliament against the people...
If that is the case then why do I hear "we need another vote now we know the details" "the referendum was illegal because the leave campaign broke the law/lied/were helped by the Russians" "the question was too specific"..... Yes Cameron was forced into promising the referendum because of UKIP but UKIP only existed because there was a huge groundswell of people who wanted us to leave the EU. Before the referendum you could have said that he should never have promised it but 1. When he did he got a huge majority 2. We actually did vote to leave No matter what his motives were, I thought he intended to get concessions from the EU but couldn't, his judgement was correct Because we voted to leave.
If you read it he is not talking about 2 referendums for the same thing, if the first one doesn't go your way, but 2 separate referendums.
I realise you thick twats didn’t understand the question in 2016. However you can’t keep getting extra chances so if you can’t pick the right box this time (there’s a 50% chance of getting it right, FFS) I’m afraid it’s game over.
UKIP were on the rise because people had had enough of the main parties, without people behind the Party there is no party so if Cameron really did allow the referendum thinking the people would never vote leave and he got rid of UKIP in the process he was wrong, as we have all found out
You silly **** when’s it going to penetrate that thick skull of yours? There’s not going to be another Referendum, no matter how many loser marches you go on you ****ing ******. The only march I’d like to see undemocratic remoaner snowflakes on is a death march
Yep ukip we’re taking Tory votes - the way to nullify them was to have a referendum so they’d go away. Backfired like a triumph spitfire I had in the 80’s.
You’re right bud, enough’s enough - the leavers are rattling their zimmers and squeezing into their incontinence pants. In a matter of weeks they’ll have made it down their stair lifts and be mobilised into a force to be reckoned with - If you’re joining them, remember, don’t tell em your name pike.
No Milky you’re confused mate. 20/20 is a remoaner. He was seen on the loser’s march on Saturday along with his carer. Bless the poor old ****er.
Yeah, that Hag shouting abuse at Andrea Ledsom which funnily enough Soubry or any of the other whiny ****s have said **** all about, looked about 20 ….not
Oh the Irony, the coffin dodgers in the House of lords and the old ****s in Parliament trying to stop democracy
From what I’ve seen the remoaners are either brainwashed uni types like dbc or senile old ****s like Steptoe and Abbott.
I know bud, he’s the exception that proves the rule. The benny hill fans didn’t turn up for nige’s ‘leave means leave’ march because it was raining and they’d catch a death. Though to be fair starting it in Sunderland probably wasn’t the best idea.
