The Remainers among us rejoice and the Leavers grumble, I think. The Remainers will doubtless think Bercow a hero and that the clamour to revoke A50 is growing by the day. The Leavers will believe this to be yet another undemocratic act of sabotage by a parliament that’s out of step with the general populace.
It's simply more of the same from the 'House of Fools'. Jezza promised a new kind of politics when he became Leader, and yes, it is a new kind of more conniving, contemptuous and self-serving politics than we could ever have imagined. I think every obfuscation Labour, LibDems and Bercow now try will strengthen Boris's hand when eventually there is a General Election...
Nothing, the Government will debate the bill for 2 days and it will be passed. We will leave by the 31st. Virtually all the top pundits have said we will be leaving by that date. Even the commentator in Brussels says Tusk and rest have now, for the first time, accepted that we will be gone by the date. Hooray! I will miss my mate Bercow who will be gone on the 31st. I can’t wait for the investigation into that little weasel. Although he probably got today’s decision correct (just). I will also be looking forward to some payback on those who have caused all the delays.
Isn’t this a stupid thing to write. Anyone with half a brain cell would know Boris got a first. And was top of the class. It looks more like something Diane Abbott would write.
Pinched from Femi Oluwole on Twitter but he makes a good point. "I won't lie. If the 52% want incompatible Brexits and cannot agree, then it's literally impossible to please them all so the will of the 48% should carry by default and we should stop Brexit. But our national psyche has been conditioned not to understand that so: #PeoplesVote"
Hmm. He may well be highly educated (as is Diane Abbott, by the way), but the point this is trying to make is that he acted like a child. Does that help at all?
