How did he play today? And how glad are we that we didn't spend £10M+ on him!

Cest is strangely quiet - along with a few more BoBs and Filth.

I've posted on several threads since 5 pm. I'm as pleased as anyone with today's performance. But we've won 15 points out of the last 57. The time to write posts like yours is when we've made up the other 42, don't you think?

he was ****e 2nd half (i never saw 1st half), he missed a sitter from about 8 yards when he kicked fresh air, not 1 of his better games as he is capable of much better

Whatever - its time that folk who like to jerk their knees realise that the the PL is a marathon, not a sprint.

We have had a shaky start, with 9 new players to bed in, as well as a tool for a CF who wanted away - 4 games was not the time to judge SB, neither is 5.

Lets see where we are at the end of October - the negativity by the BoBs is totally uncalled for.

Unfortunately Bart I'm a BOB but, one like the rest who support the team even predicted a win for us today I wouldn't call that very negative mate. Mind you I didn't see Bramble scoring or a 4-0 scoreline for that matter but, I'll take it all day long even if it was effing freezing. Just got in after extended drinkies so very happy and will probably fall asleep in about a zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

master, I'm no Bruce fan and think long term he has taken us as far as he can. But I will always rejoice in a win and love an underdog who proves me wrong but it's only one game. No matter what happens to Bruce whether you be a so called BOB or BIB as long as you are constructive in your points most people are just looking out for the club they support. If he stays in situ then he will have done well and will always get my support.

Crouch was very poor today and he got bucket loads of stick in the second half which was quite funny. We played him well today, we allowed him to win the ball from goal kicks etc but we were quick to the second ball. Stoke were poor today, I thought The two in the middle of the park for us were excellent today, can't say it was freezing mind, I had to strip my coat off and burnt the right side of my face talc! Were you naked?

We took Crouch out of the game brilliantly. We didn't try to challenge him in the air when outside of the box because we knew we could put a foot in everytime and win the ball. Compare him to Bendtner and you will see an absolute gulf in class based on today!
