IMO we'd have done Palace 2 or 3 nil if we'd have had the draw vs Chelsea. The slip was what cost us the league. There was a question going around social media. Would you have the league under Rodgers in that season and not have Klopp as a result? I said no when my kid sent to me, Klopp has changed us so much I'd have to miss out on that league title and keep Klopp. Silly question anyway.
Deffo true that. We had absolutely no need to try and put ten past Palace, and completely burn out with 20 minutes left, if we'd have got a point against Chelsea. We would have beaten Palace by 2 or 3 anyway, bogey team or not, had we just needed three points and no more. But then we'd have probably lost to Newcastle at home in the last match. Liverpool need a 15 point lead with 4 games to go to win that title - that monkey is ****ing fused to our back now like Anne Widdecombe's hump.
