It would have still happened, our mentality was so weak. The Palace game was so typical of a Rodgers team... it happened numerous times, we lacked bottle massively. There are also loads of other factors that season. Suarez missing the start of the season and us being ****e without him. Henderson suspended for the last 5 games was a massive loss. The slip and the Chelsea game was meh. It made a good story though so they went with it.

You could say that, but the business end of the season is when the title is won and lost. Like I say, it was in your hands until the Chelsea match so that was the big one imo. The palace comeback doesn't happen without the Chelsea result as you'd have had no need to chase an unrealistic GD.
