Well. That was ****e...... Go again Tuesday for what will be (I reckon) the lowest crowd of the season
And we will have to listen to them ****s with that annoying as **** Tranmere/Tequilla song, the only one they have. Adorable.
Once again I feel heartily sorry for my fellow safc fans, particularly those like my son, who don’t quite get safc and it’s many, many failures He just doesn’t get my comments on the club and what it’s like to support the biggest under achieving club in the uk in the last 60 years He will learn the hard way as I did
I was 9 when I watched us win the FA Cup with me dad. It was the day I was hooked, I thought it would always be like that. He didn’t tell me differently and going to the match was our thing. It’s a stark fact that he was 80 when he died last October and we’d both seen us win the same trophies. He’d been going since 1949
I’m not old enough fir the FA cup. I just fell in love with SAFC in 81 when I was 6! Went... loved the atmosphere... the rest is history
Started my safc sentence in 1973, aged 8. Failed every parole board since begging to be released from my hell. Never mind it’s all a laugh anyway
And at times it’s a tough history but hey they are our team, for better or worse. I’ve always said if they were a bloke I’d have dumped them years ago
Ha ha love the comparison to parole, I think it’s a lifer with no parole but wouldn’t really have it any other way
I was born in Ashbrooke and raised in Seaburn to parents from Hendon and Hylton Castle, with 17 red and white siblings between them. I had no chance of looking elsewhere...
The lowest I’ve felt supporting the lads today. No fight, no togetherness, no heart. cant wait for the Dell lads to come in and strip this dead horse. Bin Hill, Bin Coton and the rest of the **** from the **** heap.
I don't know if it's the rosy glow of the potential takeover offsetting it but I felt ten times worse during Moyes' reign of terror.
That was utterly depressing. Just back from a waste of a day. Truly terrible performance and I think that must be the worst Sunderland team of all time. We're stuck in this league for a while now which is a disgraceful state of affairs.
Shocking wasn't it. I know we're average now in terms of quality but at least they're trying and the players and manager have the right attitude. I'll take that over being in higher leagues with players who don't care and a manager who drains any enjoyment in a ten mile radius.
