What's really worrying is, that after Huddersfield the games didn't come 'thick and fast' (another readily trotted out excuse)... They had 2 weeks to sort it out, with only Groswicki and Irvine away (maybe I'm wrong on that one)... also seemingly we have never won when Jordy has been absent (again prepared to be corrected).. even Bowen said they had reviewed stats that said we had dropped more points from winning positions than any other club in the division and he even admitted it was down to concentration levels which is why its right that some players are out of their depth at this level. Well done to all those that kept the faith. I fear that we might be in a whole heap of **** by tea time on 9 November...
Just got in, that was dire. More exciting watching paint dry. We certainly didn’t look like the home team, sat back really deep, they had more time, space on the ball, passing willy nilly through and around us. We couldn’t get the ball and when we did, couldn’t string two passes together. A reflection on how poor we were, 1-3 down and George Long announced mom. The manager seems to have no idea on how to change the game, Batty should have been in for Honeyman to give a bit of bite in midfield. QPR free kick just before half time, we have the smallest player in the wall, and then he splits the wall leaving a gap.... McCann in denial, clueless, going off his interview with Burnsy, top 6, play offs my arse. Bowen, in contrast, really well spoken, coherent and honest - “we weren’t at it from the off.” We are only going one way with this manager, serving up league 1 drivel every week, and it isn’t up.
It’s football. Yes, someone should have clattered him early on. The same way your players persistently roll around on the floor feigning injury. All that is wrong with football.
Oh stop it you quant northern person. Insignificant part of London, great access to the west and midlands, Heathrow, shopping, west end, restaurants, parks, arts and culture, good music venues, why its almost brilliant, not good for travelling north though, another bonus. Insignificant part of London as opposed to an insignificant part of England. Over reactive, I’ll give you that 1 down went and scored three, over reaction.
Should have clattered him outside the box rather than allowing him to run 50 yards with the ball before tackling him inside the area and allowing him to feign being pole axed for that first 'pen'
Because we had the advantage of actually being at the game and seeing the incident rather than only listening on the radio in the kebab shop kitchen where you work
Why would I go to Hull, went there once it was ****, sorry shut. Don’t work in a kebab shop, though it does sounds fun. And I saw the highlight on sky
I stayed in Shepherd’s Bush last week and there was nothing brilliant about the park, I had to walk round a landfill-size collection of discarded KFC boxes and step over an unconscious skaghead at 8.00am.
