I’ve seen some say it’s because of how Bruce is asking him to play because Benitzez knew how to get the best out of him .
Iirc they had no more than half a dozen decent games together. Time warps the memory to what one wants to believe
Dozen is about right to be fair.. Kirchoff a free agent, says it all, playing semi-pro in the German 5th. That’s not on ability. He’s played 1 game all season.

Well that was crap! Centre half's were bullied by Akinfenwa who didn't run or jump all match. Our midfield was completely bypassed by us pumping long balls up to Charlie who got **** all from the ref. Mcgeady had a few flashes but wasn't in the game enough. I don't normally like to comment on the opposition too much but I thought all the time wasting, particularly by the tit in goal for them, was awful and embarrassing. Even the ball boys were in on it. On the plus side only 4 and a half hours till I'm home....
