why the hell not?????!!!!!!!! Best football in decades, great atmosphere, club is bouncing, top of the league, brilliant goals. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THESE GOOD TIMES. For any of you who just couldn't make the effort to get to the game today (yes, some have valid reasons, but many don't really).... more fool you because you missed a bloody fantastic game!
With you CBK, fabulous game, great performance an top of the league to boot. Good day out, worth every penny and cost if the journey from Northampton. Slightly annoyed that I missed abut if the last 5 minutes as so many people were leaving early again! Wasters!
First home game i've missed in ages, but I am skint, that is my excuse Its agony not being there! Sounded like a brilliant game, COYR
I'm gutted I'm gonna be missing games because of Uni from next week, striving to get to as many games as possible. Thankfully today and last week were great games against top opposition so sending me off happy.
i almost didnt make it to the stadium today. almost drowned in the monsoon, thankfully two old geezers let me stand with them under the shelter by the citroen garage and i made it
Yeah right on the money here cbk. Such a great time to be a saints fan, geniunelly not worth missing this. Another brilliant game, 4 good goals all with different scorers, another great atmosphere, top of the league and 12 points ahead of the skates. It don't get much better than this. COYR
I also nearly didn't make it Jen, just ridiculous amounts of rain. Nothing could stop me watching saints at the moment <okay>
Because they moved the bloody game to a date when I was already committed, not helping my mood was the fact that the weather wiped my event out around three o clock and I had to sit listening to Radio Solent! Happy with result and it's back to normal on Wednesday, that could be tougher than todays game, Mr Brown is one of my most admired managers.
I'd love to make it out to a match; if someone will spot me the money for the Transatlantic flight to and from, I'd even spring for the pre-game pints.
Adkins said he thought the rain would help Saints.........Trouble was in the first 10 minutes it kind of hindered them as the ball just would not run. It got better but I think Ricky slipped as he took the penalty or he scuffed his shot, not sure which but it still went in!! As for the rain didn't it pour down. I felt sorry for the people in the front rows they got soaked!!
The people that leave early really really piss me off,it's ok for people who NEED to go early but all the people that leave to get a headstart on traffic should be ashamed of thereselves,i saw loads of people streaming out today and thought what the bloody hell are you doing? just stay an extra 5 minutes and clap the boys off after a fantastic result, they bloody deserved it,pisses me off big time. Also my girlfriend got told off today for saying ****,bloke turns round and says no,don't say that because he was with a kid,my advice is don't take a kid to football if you don't want him hearing swear words and also what gives him the right to tell an adult off? unbelievable!
I can't really understand why today was the lowest league attendance we've had so far this season. For the reasons mentioned above and being a Sunday with less people having to work I thought we would have had a near sell out. In fact with the team playing so well from the off, I'm a bit disappointed with the attendances at St Mary's so far.
Same, although I have slightly further to come than you to get to home games! Still got my mind set on getting to at least two this season
