He was outstanding today. Brilliant distribution and always available for the pass.

Also thought with him and Gardner in the cm the team looked a lot more balanced.

No way back for Cattermole in home fixtures in my opinion.

    Any thoughts?

Vaughan was brilliant today, great passer, great awareness, always seems to find space for himself and others. Keep him in Brucie!

A simple performance, kept everything ticking, knew what he wanted to do with the ball.

Outstanding, and possibly the missing link between midfield and the forwards.

It's not that I think he's a bad player, I just think he's a liability with his tackling and limits our attacking options, especially for home game

I hope this pushes him, he still has a place at this club, he just needs to get his game back together a bit.

I made it 1h 58 min run, then a 3 mile walk to Whitburn, park the car, pick up rhe tickets, quick piss, quick pint, a nightmare climb up the stairs to row 33 in the west stand.

Was it worth it?? Hell yes. Vaughan was outstanding. Great passer and a really good tackeler too. I had not seen much of him previously but he really impressed me today as did Gardener. Goals from midfield, quick passing and some superb creativity from Sess.

Same team next week for me. We still need Catts he is a good player and we are going to get injuries and suspensions. What we saw today in Vaughan and Gardener are 2 quality signings, along with Sess and Larson our midfield has improved since last season, with Brown and OShea so has our defence. What we now need is a striker in Jan to partner Bendtner who lead the line well.

Hats off to Migg too, he got battered most of rhe game but made important saves and put his body on the line when he had to.

Good signing for you guys. I thought he was excellent for Blackpool. The fans didn't vote him player of the season ahead of Adam for nothing.

Just my opinion lads...I don't rate Catts at all, the red mist come down too quick, the amount of yellow cards he gets early on then making him ineffective for the rest of the game is shocking.
nice to see Vaughan getting a game, at last a bit of flair...about time.

Two goals and accurate passing from midfield. We'd have killed for that last season. This is miles better.
