Huge thanks to the PL to making match away at Newcastle a Sunday 2pm kick off. ****ing ****ers, won't be going there now.
The premier league cares absolutely ****ing zero for people who actually go to games. **** all. I can see why you'd just as soon Saints got relegated, games at 3.00 on a Saturday are ideal.
Yeah I understand that TV is king, best in the world, blah-di-****ing-blah but you'd think that they'd at least take some consideration when it's 300 mile plus journey each way. Couple of years ago they played away to us and Brighton within a month. Both games Sunday 4pm
Might have said this before but I saw United at the Dell pn a Monday night once, and that was when BBC first used to occasionally show division 1 games live! Sky and BT have just pissed all over the the match going fan though. I maintained a season ticket for a couple of seasons after moving down here but it soon became a nightmare the more Sky had live games, the more it was United. Made travel a pain in the arse so stopped bothering in the end. Way too much hassle.
Yeah it's a piss take. I try to go to the Saturday 3 o'clocks. It's the only match time as far as I'm concerned.
Yeah it must be even worse when you support a big club but these days it's almost every club that gets ****ed over by it. Someone on our board noted that between 17th August and after Christmas we have one home game that's a Saturday 3pm ko. Proper piss take mate, who the **** is even interested in watching us that much ffs?
I go watch a championship team now, it's a good afternoon out in a proper competitive league, home by half five. Go to United once or twice a season? Even then, you can't plan in advance as they change the fixture time and day. Even now we're ****, it's still TV time, only now it's to see us lose and gloat.
