I am sooooo happy we managed to win, but I'm not gonna get too carried away with expectation.

We will see how we do over the next few games, what really impressed me was our performance AND the ability to take our chances (even if some were lucky).

I have changed my stance from 'Bruce out' to not sure as I think if we can continue to play like we did today we'll have a successful season under Bruce, but this could be our only game when we play really well, like Chelsea last year.

Fingers crossed we do play well and have a great season!!

I'm not getting carried away either but God it was good to see a Sunderland performance like that one. Yes, we got the breaks but all in all we were a class or two above our opponents. Great spirit, great technique, great team play, excellent team selection and substitutions. Let's hope we can repeat that on a regular basis. Well done, one and all.
I've got an enormous smile on my face this evening.

I was there today and Sess, Vaughn, Kieron, Elmo the (list goes on) were all great, i am sure Nicklas's goal was not an own goal though to me from where i was sitting. The pitch should not have been watered before the match either!, i would like to see more of Whickam connor though.
