embarassed to watch a liverpool performance like that,it was bluddy awfull,sorry to be blunt and i am sure there are some liverpool fans on here that will disagree with me.but it was bad from defence to forwards. we lost at stoke last week,and ok we could say that was a blip as we deserved to get at least a point,but that today was well below standards. we say that we have gerrard to come back,well to be honest i dont think he will make that much off a difference. kenny has got to get them back after the game and really sort them out cos when we play the likes of man utd man city and chelsea,well sorry i am starting to get worried. after todays performance the europa league will be a long way off let alone champs league qualification.
Going by today, it will be Man United and City that we'll have to be worried about Chelsea don't look like all that much.
On todays evidence I'd say we have more to worry about than Chelsea...(although as I write this Torres has just entered the history books with surely the worst miss ever ). Seriously though if we play like we did today against this Chelsea team we WILL lose...in fact if we play like we did today against Wolves we will struggle so as a club and as fans we must focus on our own positives and negatives and not those of others we have no influence over. why put kenny under pressure? he is not on the pitch,yes ok he picks the team,but adam and skirtl deserved there red cards after stupid stupid stupid challenges,and i think suarez needs to be carefull when a descision goes against him,ok he is a great player but he needs to watch his discipline.
Feckin' hell, how many Liverpool fans are bi-polar? People get swept along too much by good things @ LFC. Yes we had a better than usual start this season, but look at how many new players we are trying to integrate into the team, yes it needed doing, so we just have to be patient, there is no need for all this wrist slashing after a very off-colour performance. We didn't drop any points to Chavski, and only 1 to citeh. I'm in denial about the scum, but I'm sure they'll have a bad patch. It was good to see Carroll coming back to the halfway line, looking to dig the ball out, that means a lot, as far as him suppose to being lazy, Henderson was slightly better, and I hope will keep improving, Lucas is still a blinking marvel looking at how many completed passes he made while all about him were just giving the ball away. Coates was blooded, and while it may not have been memorable, he made a couple of great blocks and clearances. It is all too easy to look at the negative and get down about it, and the best thing Liverpool fans can do is just go away from their keyboard a bit and internalise their frustration, rather than putting it out there to the whole world when they are at their most raw. I was told yesterday, that we should be the bigger men, and not send the boot into arsenal, but if we were bigger men we wouldn't be on here crying over a blip. Get off hte computer, go do a few DiY tasks, get some food, then come on and look for the positives, then we can show all the others that we are the better men, not just a bunch of blowing in the wind tarts.
I doubt you will compete with any of them this season. Don't get me wrong but I think 5th-7th at best for you.

Why is it that whenever we get a bad result, suddenly people are claiming we 'won't make Europe' as if this performance is the norm? Out of 5 games, we've had 1 and a half (v Sunderland) poor performances. Try basing your predictions on the majority of our football, which has been good, and not the minority, which has been bad. Fair enough, be annoyed and embarrassed after today, but don't write off the season's expectations off the back of it. It won't get any worse than this.

Well, how likely are we to go down to 9 men again? I suppose I should have said 'it's unlikely to get worse than this'. I don't think Chelsea or the Manchester clubs will beat us by 4, and in terms of the performance I don't think we can play worse. Next week against Wolves I'll have us down for a win. Remember that they're aren't exactly flying either.
