They were pretty lucky to escape with 5 at ours in all fairness ... looked nailed on for the drop ... but were worthy winners against United by all accounts <yikes>

    You’ll batter them

Their best players...as **** as they have been...are still their best players and they are out injured

Matth is confident of a positive result. Just don’t see who is going to score for United. The defence is capable on its day of keeping Liverpool’s goal tally down.

Ole is getting a lot of **** but nobody, including the media, seems to be allowing for the fact that half his first team have been injured for weeks.

To be fair, I suspect a lot of the critics aren't aware of that.

Yeah...I can see Liverpool nicking it. Don’t think their attack is as fluid as last season but they know how to grind out wins.

Don’t know where a goal is coming from for United and their Midfield will get smashed.

Let’s hope they up their game because its traditionally a big game for them...a bit like Chelsea and Goonz do against us.

Last time he had his desired XI on the pitch you beat the Chavs 4-0

I said to Stan Jr at the start of the season that the squad was fine for a transitional season apart from the fact that there were too few goals in the team. Lukaku may have been a flat track bully but at least he bullied the flat track. The only striker in the squad has just turned 18. Martial can provide the odd goal but he's been injured for ages. Rashford isn't an out and out striker.

I don't blame Ole for that. He was a striker so I suspect he knew we were short in that department! Woodwood on the other hand is a useless ****. I wouldn't be surprised if he vetoed the Mandzukic deal because he thought he was too old to pay anything for. United won't ever be successful again while Woodwood is in charge of transfers.

On paper we batter them, easily.

The problem is it's the big fixture in the calendar for both teams so anything can happen. We're also trying to match City's record of 18 league wins in a row if we win this.

I don't see it being as straight forward as the media think. I think this is the game we first trip up on. Maybe I'm being overly cautious but our run has to end soon and Utd would love to get one over on us, and stop us reaching the record.

I can't remember the gap in quality being this big ever, for either side. I'm thinking a combined 11 and not 1 Utd player gets in... that's crazy and shows what a few years can do to a team.

I’m a big believer in mentality...Lesta have proved this point. An average team can achieve with the right focus...a few tweeks is all it takes but for me more than anything else it’s the mentality that has to be correct.

Look at us...a few negative tweeks and thoughts running through our club and we have gone to ****.

I've been invited by my client/mate again on Sunday. First time I went with him, we got beat 3 - 1, last season was the dogshit draw.. feel more positive about it this time as I think we've learned some lessons. We really should be too good for them this time around, but I'm always nervous when we play them <yikes>

United will undoubtedly raise their game for this one (won't be hard) ... but the ultimate outcome might well depend on who will be better on the day at conning a penalty ... Rashford or Mane <whistle>

I've been hearing that since the 90s. It may be true now (not sure it is) but even when we were winning doubles and a treble Liverpool fans were convinced they had the better players. Maybe they did and Liverpool's managers were really ****.

Like your style but lets be honest here...if brighton can batter us 3 nil anything less than a win by a 5 goal margin is a shameful Liverpool result

Have to agree anything less than a humiliating defeat for utd will be a failure for us.

3 nil is the bare minimum or I won't be happy

No but I think 1 or 2 would have got in. In 99 possibly, but I don't think we were ever as light as you are now. The Utd team are so poor as you know.
