Whilst the lack of mags is refreshing, I do miss the general chat (especially the new music thread) and also the diet and exercise bit (running thread). So hopefully it won't be permanent

Just been out to look at other parts of the board - just the League 1 - it seems a bit unbalanced. The Sunderland section seems a lot bigger than the rest of the clubs in League 1 put together.

I've had trouble with it so far and first time I'd seen that disable link on the route I described. So far, crosses fingers, so good. The disable via the link on the email never worked.

It's daft that threads auto default to watched when you reply to them. Maybe there's an option to switch that off also.

Stopping Emails

Go into "your account" and click on "Preferences". Untick both "Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply..." and "and receive email notifications of replies".

This should stop you signing up to threads and getting emails everytime someone replies.

I'm going to keep using RTG for most things to be honest, and as an exile it gives me a link back home like nothing else. But I think I'll be using this forum for more.. calm.. discussion about the football.
