Back from my dinner and very good as ever. My Forest friend will not talk football at the moment, he keeps changing the subject. All I managed from him was that they should not have employed that manager.

I wonder if he will be the first Championship manager to leave his club this season? Any guesses as to who it will be, either because of the sack or because a "better" job becomes available.

Evening Norway, I bet your Dad will be even happier if they get stuffed next week. ;)

How is Mrs.N getting on with her passport problems?

Very busy here this evening trying to contact people in the UK about my next trip over. At the moment it looks as if I might be getting to the Palace game with one of my grandsons. As this would be his first ever game I want to make sure that he knows which team to support for ever.<wizard>

Good man Frenchie:)
Mrs N will speak with the consulate in Oslo tomorrow , the emergency lines are closed for the weekend !
She will fly out and put the dogs in kennels ! I have two options cancel saints trip and look after mutts when I get back ,or keep them kenneled and carry on as planned ! plan b is favourite but the extra cost is going to hurt ! both of us in the UK spending and not earning <yikes>

Norway the 'orns never lose when I go. Put all your farthings on a Watford win at Saints and you'll be pounds in.

Anyway I told my misses that she would meet the eskimo 'ornet from the north - she likes it cold (even though she is from Seville)- so you cannot let me down now!!!!!

How can you close an emergency line for the weekend? Don't emergencies happen then? <yikes>

A local hotel and bar closes for lunch, so I suppose anything can happen in this strange world.

It can not be worse than here, somethings which happen defy logic and common sense.

On the topic of Common Sense i love this; (sorry if i have posted it before)

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm:
Life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults are in charge not children)

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of an 8 year old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate, teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch, and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student, but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses, and criminals received better treatment than their victims,

Common sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common sense finally gave up the will to live, after a women failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common sense was preceded in death, by his parents, truth and trust
His wife, discretion
His daughter, Responsibility
His son, reason.

He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers
I know my rights
I want my rights
I want it now
I’m a victim.
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on if not, join the majority and do nothing.
