I love how many are now saying Ashley stay just because these owners aren't oil rich !!

There is really only Pouchy saying that and you surely don’t believe a word he posts on here.

My real problem with Ashley is a lack of ambition when it comes to the club. I reckon if I am lucky I have another 30years left on this planet and I don't really want to spend them all watching us battle against relegation, where a good season means we are challenging for 13th place.

I want the new owners personally, they have more money than Ashley and they have a direct link with football. They will have a comprehension and a focus on the game that is sorely lacking with Ashley.

The biggest problem with Mike is he see's us as purely a side project, these guys will see us as a major investment and their future. They will have far greater commitment.

and pouchy is a traitor !

Will they? How do you know all this? Is this on top of all the transfer funds or part of the transfer funds? Our staff needs to at least double in size. The facilities needs millions spending on it. Yet this group want to pay in installments? Lol

tbf, its a massive amount of money, its not chickenfeed

well degrosa has said himself coaching and youth is the way he will do things, so I'm assuming they will improve the facilities..

The Gazette can reveal that DaGrosa’s US investment firm – who are working with former Manchester United and Chelsea chief Peter Kenyon – have within the last seven days progressed their bid by opening a fresh company GACP NEWCASTLE INVESTORS (U.S.), LLC out of Delaware. The incorporation date for this fresh venture was Tuesday, October 8.

This follows on from the setting up of GACP NEWCASTLE MANAGEMENT (U.S) LLC and GACP NEWCASTLE PARTNERS (U.S), LLC. The former launched on September 27, 2019 with the latter set-up on October 1, 2019.

I really hope this one comes off ! ok an oil rich arab would have been nice, but these guys have been honest in their intentions and I like the fact they want to invest in coaching and youth . This would give us a proper identity over time.

75 million in January and 40 million a season is what they claim to guarantee and that's a huge amount more than Ashley spends who spends about 30 every 5 , so if sustained we would certainly be better off .

here's hoping

If you haven't realised that Mike Ashley is not going to sell his 'cash cow', by now, I don't suppose you ever will.

I find it astonishing with the insane amount of freely available, and easily found, information that anyone would ever use the words "cash cow". It's not the right assessment of the club or Ashley at all; he's a leech, using the club for free advertising, but it's his ignorance, stupidity and flagrant disregard for the norm that has knackered this club. He's made nowt from it, aside from some un-quantifiable amount due to advertising and merch deals.
