Is he boring because he doesn't agree with you, or because he stands up to a bullying government and fights for what his constituents , and country, overwhelmingly voted for? The more the Tories ride roughshod over the people of the UK the more likely the Union is doomed. A decent deal is the only way to keep the Nationalists of Scotland and Wales quiet - a No Deal scenario plays right into their hands.

No he is just boring and at every oppertunity he gets he talks about "another Scottish referendum". It's not the Tories that want to break up the union its the SNP. Who like the rest of the fanatics cannot accept the last vote (in both Scotland & Brexit). What put of once in a generation does he not understand? I have heard him many times on the radio/TV and can make an informed opinion of him.
The best one was a recent interview with Iain Dale where he said "it was impossible not to have a hard boarder in Ireland if the UK left the EU". So Iain said "what about if Scotland left the UK?" He replied "there would be no need for a hard border". Another idiot just trying to mess things up. The rabble they call the SNP should not be anywhere near the House. They should put them in a broom cupboard.
As I have said it comes down to a simple thing. We must respect democracy at all costs. We voted and the result was to leave. Accept it, get on with it and if people want another vote in 20 years they can. All this crap about people changing their minds is part of the excuse. The only reasons its taken 3 years is because fanatics on both sides have frustrated it. just get it done!

So we must respect democracy at all costs, unless it's a party who you don't like and want them.put in a broom cupboard? I'm no big fan of the SNP, but that sounds as if you're trying to silence democracy.......

My two aunts were down from Dumfries, neither big SNP fans either, but were both disgusted by that. Arrogant, rude, disrespectful, true traits of a Tory party. Wont have done much good for the Tories that.

You sound like you are a fan.
Since the SNP has increased MPs in the House the discipline has slipped, that is fact from someone who watches every PMQS. The are a loud rabble. Their conduct has been terrible at times and even their leader warned on times regarding his conduct. They are there for one reason only and that's to cause trouble.
Put them in a cupboard. The can still vote. It won't be a problem. Take Labour, they can get people to vote even when on a police tag.
I think your comment on democracy is laughable a few on here need to look the word up and what it actually means.

    One more note on democracy...
It appears from today's news that Barnier/Macron believe a deal can be made and the EU might be making an emergency meeting.
If Boris gets this deal he brings it back to the house.
We then have to see how democratic the house is remembering most said (even Benn) that they wanted a deal and just wanted to stop no deal.
If this deal is okay with the EU Ireland DUP ERG then of course it will be okay for the house? Many have said they didn't support due to the backstop. That would have been sorted now.
Surely they would then respect the will of the people? Or do you think something else will stop them?

Their final betrayal will be there for everyone to see.

Let's hope we do get a deal as my pal ellers says. I'm sure the Hulk can bung the DUP enough to get them on board. The treacherous ERG are a different matter though

Labour will vote against simply because it's Boris's deal, they can't help themselves and the majority of them are remoaners. The fun will start if a 'No Confidence' motion is passed, Jezza will find out how popular he really is...

Sorry bob but you are becoming a WUM again. Your posts just follow mine with nothing to say. Sorry fella but I said before that I find you boring and have nothing worth reading.
Your mocking of our dead heroes yesterday was just another low. I made you look stupid before and you chucked your toys out of the pram <wah>and said you were leaving a not coming back. You don't even have the conviction of standing by what you said.... No wonder you like Labour.
Please put me on ignore because I don't want to have to read your rubbish. Cheers
    Ps
I don't mind discussing things with you on other threads ( football related)

The problem with Blackford, and indeed all the SNP MP's is that they make it clear that they are ONLY interested in Scotland, and have as much interest in the rest of the UK as Sinn Fein do. That's the characteristic of nationalism. Of course, the SNP have every right to fight for Scotland and independence, but the remainder of the MP's looking to the interests of the wider UK will naturally become increasingly jaded and indifferent to the SNP's narrow interest. My eyes glaze over every time Blackford comes on the TV

I think enough labour will vote for a deal tbh. The 120 in leave constituencies won't want to block Brexit because the Brexit party will finish them off.
It's up to the EU and if they gamble on rejecting Boris because if they do he will campaign for a ’no deal’.

They are just saying on news two things to go on deal: we have moved on the customs boarder (the two of them) and they want a fair play bit added in. That means we have to ask them first... We have rejected this and won't budge.
Latest: is that EU members don't want Brexit to drag on and something must happen now. That is good news.

Looks like it's going to be the 'Ireland-only backstop' - i.e. a customs border in the Irish Sea. Didn't the DUP rule that out?

funny no one ever asks what the N stands for in SNP? Can you imagine if someone called themselves BNP ( British National Party) what would liberals here think?
