1. Sort it out, Kenny! These are the teams we have to beat home AND away if we have any chance of a top 4 finish. We're out of Europe. No excuse for sloppy play. 2. PISS OFF OUT OF IT, SKRTEL! YOU'RE A WASTE OF BLOODY SPACE!
I'm dreading what my journey down to Anfield next Saturday will be like, I don't want to drive back up to Newcastle depressed.
Got no bloody chance against united, chelsea or city, you know. I still don't think we're good enough. Sorry.
Used to this kind of reaction, no need to worry the sending off cost us and may have made the difference. Move on. We have Kenny in charge and the season will be a good one. It hurts at the moment but chin up lads we will get better.
"A bad day at the office. But some so-called fans need to look up the words 'loyalty' and 'legend' in their dictionaries. If they can actually read that is. You'll never walk alone, King Kenny. Anfield was not rebuilt in a day!"" (From JZ, Liverpool Supporter)
Oh, here we go. So I'm being disloyal because I'm unhappy that we got thumped 4-0 by Spurs. I see. I do beg your pardon. OK, I withdraw everything I said. Whatever. It's only a bloody game. Not the matter of life and death Bill Shankly claimed it to be after all, eh? Certainly not to some of our players today, anyway. Dalglish can run rings round some of the muppets wearing our shirt.
Yep bad day at the office but I know some may say that the sending offs were deserved but when did every slightly late tackle become a yellow card?
What results like this do, is show the weak links. Skrtel poor touch, reads the game poorly Adam poor touch, gives the ball away too much ( bad signing IMO) Carra played players ONSIDE twice, strugglin to keep up. Carroll isnt workin But there are positives Suarez,Lucas ( normally) , Enrique, Downing,Agger ( when fit),Kelly,Johnson
Firstly credit to Spurs, by far the better team on the day who out played us from the first kick to the last. Soon as I saw Skrtel at right back up against Bale I texted my mate before the game and said we are in for a beating. No real complaints about the result, ref was definately a homer but neither sending off I can really argue with. Poor decisions from the top down today, team was all wrong for me (playing Skrtel meant Kuyt had to be on to protect down the right), players lacked work rate especially after a week off, Carroll again failed to impress, Suarez had a mare, Henderson and Adam (while he was on) were dominated by Modric and Parker, Downing was awful, Enrique needs to play it simple more often and even Pepe was poor. I think Lucas and Carra were the only ones I felt any sympathy for today. All in all the players deserve a lot of criticism but the management can't get away from this one scot-free either. Bloody glad now that I couldn't get to the game today. E minus today....must do better redmen. On the plus side Stevie G will be back soon and **** do we need him after that pile of turd
Just saying, things don't happen overnight, remember our positon last season, we can't expect to be complete world beaters in one season, although I may agree we did poorly today, some supporters' reaction is far from reasonable.
