This. For starters we weren't due to receive £45 m parachute payment for a year (in fact I don't think the last 2 payments combined come to £45m). Then there's the fact that there's never been anything concrete come out about why the Campbell takeover failed, don't think there's ever been any suggestion of Donald moving the goal posts. In fact it seemed to cool once it was noticed that the bloke had next to no money, he'd hardly have pushed us to the next level so was hardly worth Donald bringing him in. That's not confirmed either, but he's meant to be buying falkirk and still doesn't seem to have got that over the line so I can believe that more than "Donald changed the asking price".

The money went to Short, we all know this. No doubt a bunch of ****ers will start spreading it a gospel, further fracturing the relationship with the club and further reducing the likelihood of investment.

If you question them with any level of intelligence they will not respond, if you’re a) thick or b) agree with their bullshit they will respond.

I’ve ended up with top fan badges on numerous (which I don’t display as I’d be shamed to do so), for calling them out.

Never once have they engaged. Any of them.

It sounded to me at the time that as you say, we pulled the plug on the Campbell deal. Donald came out and then said we have other parties interested he was very excited about. I'm sure that's where he dropped the "People think we're Dell boys" little joke/comment, tat people later picked up on.
We also know we had to deal with other issues which Donald has already explained, like the additional Alveraz case we lost. The paying off of Kone, Catts, Oviedo,Rodwell etc etc That money came from somewhere (ie Donald)

Ask yourself this.

Donald has no money. The club is currently close to debt free. Alvarez cost around £9million, and the wage bill was a shade under £20 million if I recall correctly.

Did those bills pay themselves while Donald was doing his best Somali pirate impression?

It’s very easy to account for the clubs money. Unless you don’t wanna look of course and wanna cause ****e for likes.
