Some of the panic is unbelievable. Our rivals for fourth? Spurs and Arsenal. We have had to play both away from home and have won one and lost one. We have had virtually nothing go our way this season, yet are doing ok if top 4 is our target. We're still bedding in players, we're still trying to figure out how to get the best out of some players. Kenny got the tactics wrong, and funnily enough like Hodgson at Man City he played 4-4-2 away from home and it didn't work. We should have stuck with the team that bossed Stoke, and we needed Kuyt's protection against Bale on the right. Either way Kenny obviously is figuring out different ideas about the team and sometimes when we come up against a good side and have things like red cards go against us then we will be beaten. No need for mindless panic, it was poor as was the referee and either way Tottenham deserve their win. Either way i also think we still have the better team/squad
Parker has just kicked Lucas off the ball! Ref didn't give anything.. no suprise. I hope that is looked into after the game though as absoloutely no need for it. 3-0 up with 1 minute to go. Oops 4-0. Carragher playing everyone onside... Well at least Adebayor is in my fantasy team.
If Agger is fit next week I would be tempted to drop Carra, but only if Agger is fit.Cos Carra is defo a better player than Skrtel. N Carra not keepin up with play costs us the 4th
Well done Spurs you smashed us! We were absolutely terrible, but this didn't make you look good because you were outstanding anyway.
I take it you didn't watch the match? We didn't lose by a goal in some tight match, we were ****ing awful for NO reason! We were terrible from the first whistle regardle of the refs harsh decisions.
Well we were **** today, from start to finish. Ref was appalling Spuds took advantage Only positives; Skrtel will be banned so we'll have to start with someone who can play RB next game, Carroll looked fitter. And thats about it.
Pathetic excuse for a mod, if you can't handle people disagreeing with you, give up your 'super powers' on an online forum.
When you walk through a storm Hold your head up high And don't be afraid of the dark At the end of the storm Is a golden sky And the sweet silver song of the lark Walk on through the wind Walk on through the rain Though your dreams be tossed and blown Walk on walk on with hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE
I'm going to direct you back to my response earlier in the thread. So you can get off your high horse and **** off too. Pathetic excuse for a poster.
So, lets get this into perspective. Referee was poor, but we were worse. Spurs were brilliant, although Defoe and Bale should have done more with those chances. Adebayor was brilliant, his finishing is top class. Our defence was unstable, Jamie Carragher is indeed getting on but unfortunately we don't really have a choice at the moment. Referee decisions were not the reason we lost, we played horribly, Spurs played really well. Let's move on, get a victory in the Carling Cup on Wednesday and then look towards Wolves next week as something to build on. Something for Liverpool fans.. "A bad day at the office. But some so-called fans need to look up the words 'loyalty' and 'legend' in their dictionaries. If they can actually read that is. You'll never walk alone, King Kenny. Anfield was not rebuilt in a day!"" (From JZ, Liverpool supporter) Taking nothing away from Spurs though, well done you lot
Stand by Ze and his modding today. If you don't like his style there really is a simple solution; use another board to give your opinion.
You don't need to, I've already read your weak excuse. Get a grip, you lost a match, take it like a man. Ironic that I'm apparently the one on a high horse, lol.
LOL!! I'm too scared to even look at mine, I had 6 points overnight, and usually rock solid Stoke are shipping goals, and my Liverpool players... well less said, really ;-)
Did no one else see Parker kick Lucas just before the build up for the 4th goal today? On a different note, how good were Adebayor's goals today. The first touches for both of them were different class. I think he's going to be some signing for Spurs this season, although I don't think it should be allowed that you can loan players to teams in the same division. In theory Man City are paying half his wages to help Spurs defeat their rivals but won't let him play against them.
