@Smug in Boots Did you say you'd heard Clough was getting interviewed.
Hadn't heard anything but just checked odds and there seems to be a bit of money on him today.

Yes, he was definitely interviewed but I have the feeling he didn't impress .... not a fact, just the impression I picked up on.

I'd be utterly unimpressed if clough was anywhere near the front runners!!
His managerial career was very ordinary.
Amount of folk that would entertain him is bewildering

Any word on how they felt about Parkinson
His appointment would worry me dour man and dour football
The club needs a reboot and we need someone to bring the fans back together
I think his appointment would be a disaster

Parkinson would be such a deflating underwhelming appointment

It is not a massive population sample but the echo has a yes no poll going for parkinson and he is getting a massive no vote.
Nearly every one of these mini polls is clearly pointing to stendel.
I hope donald sees and understands this

The club needs a boost and he wouldn't achieve that, just another Ross ...
... methodical, stubborn and sensible but dour.

Pearson with SKP would fly imo.

    Why not, Ross had Fowler.

I just get the impression that
Pearson would have skp purely to get the job, little else.
Pearson I doubt would last the season before falling out with all and sundry
    Just my view
    Not sure what fowler did

Nah you're alright, I'll give you another fifty or so whines about nasty old Ross before I feel compelled to say anything.

Hopefully we get a new manager in soon and it's someone you approve of, and they do well, or we'll never hear the end of it.

Bri is the poster who was on RTG called desfartes and other names....his lack of knowledge was and is legendary. He always does long posts with long out of context words and no actual message.
He will get very abusive soon. He claimed that I snagged my cancer suffering mother and also mocked Podge when he died.
He loves to label.our fans as bigots.

I am not in the habit of replying to posters like you but here I woukd like to ask you where is your evidence that Phillips would be a gopher ?
They have worked together before. Many have said Pearson is a hard/ nutcase surely he needs a nice guy alongside him.
Phillips input would be immense IMO.

There definitely won't be a big name. It will be one of: Cook, Parkinson or Stendel IMHO. The least likely is Cook, although I've read somewhere that he IS interested in the job

I was a charity night at the SOL a few months back and I'm pretty sure that SKP said he was now looking to get into management rather than being a coach. I don't think he'd take a no.2 position at a L1 club
