I’d take either, Bob. The genie’s out of the bottle. I’d take a deal over no deal, but I’d take no deal over remain.
Bob you tried all this rubbish before and ended up throwing your toys out of the Pram and said you were never coming back... remember? At least I had the decency of saying a was taking a break. Now so you don’t make yourself look silly I will explain again. If there was another losers vote and it was fair Leave v Remain. I am confident Leave would win bigger. However Various fanatics have been saying it should be deal that we get or no deal v remain. That way the leave vote gets split and Remain would win. If you are talking about the conformationary vote if Boris gets a deal. Then theoretically it also splits the leave vote as some only want no deal whereas people like me have compromised. It’s all hypothetical anyway because if he does get a deal it will go back to parliament and passed. I hope that clarifies things.
Thank you ever so much Ellers. You are by far the most intellectual person on this board by a country mile. You have clarified my confusion. When the referendum was put to the people, leave actually meant 2 things. Cheers for that squire.
There’s no guarantees that our elected representatives in the lower house will approve Johnson’s deal, though. I can see half of Labour and the Tory Europhiles siding with the SNP and the Nambies because they bend only to Stroller’s will.
It won’t happen. Many MPs have stated that they only wanted to stop a ‘no deal’ and wanted a deal. If he comes back with a deal other than the fanatics how can they not support it? Especially if the Irish okay it. That was the main problem of it failing the last 3 times under May. Even the honest Benn and Grieve said they wanted to see a deal. The electorate would never forgive them. That’s why it will be Boris deal or no deal.
If it comes I would vote remain if any Anglo Saxon would suddenly trust British politics led by Boris Johnson in what is a very short comical timescale then I say You are ****ing mad
It really is a strange situation, some leave voters wanted different things, some now would be willing to accept something different to what they originally voted for. How dare anyone, anywhere change their ****ing minds! You are traitors like me deep down!!!!
It’s still leaving. I seem to remember you saying once that people can change their minds bit of an own goal there.
It will only be for a bit because Brexit will be over soon and bob can back to debating the price of plasterboard.
I know the price lad, no need for a debate. Brexit wont be over for a few years yet, surely even you know that. Good to have you back though ellers. You always make me laugh and it's quite refreshing considering the state of the country
