Whatever floats your boat. The point is, alcohol is a lot more likely to **** you up if you abuse it, than cannabis is.
And more likely to affect the people around you too, wether that's violence or illness or crime. It's as dangerous as heroine and crack in that sense.
I guess we'll see. That's an awful lot of tax revenue the government are missing out on. Just as several US states saw how much tax Colorado and Washington State were coining in from the pot market, and decided that wanted a piece of that action, so governments around the world will decide they don't want to miss out any more either. It's only really illegal in most places because the Yanks - religious puritans who have tried banning everything except guns - wanted it banned. Now the Yanks have accepted reality, the ret of the world will soon follow.
Those who vehemently object to it, invariably know little or nothing about it and have never used it. I don’t use cannabis these days, but did do, on and off for 20+ years and I can’t see any reason why it should be illegal.
I’m lucky in that I don’t have an addictive type personality. In general, as much as I like a drink, or used to like a blow, I can take it or leave it. I don’t have to have it. If you are of an addictive personality I’d say alcohol would be far more dangerous to you than cannabis.
Yeh all goes back to reefer madness. I just don't think it will happen over here in my lifetime (and I've a good 30 yrs left I'm sure) lots of places in Europe have already gone for at least decriminalisation, Portugal, Spain off the top of my head
Because people vote tactically, everyone thinks Boris it's a **** and everyone thinks Corbin is a **** but most will pick one to get the other out and round and round we go. If people vote for a party that actually cares about people and the environment then that party would then have more power and a better chance of changing things.
And tbf she wasn't trying to take credit for anything she was just happy that the protests were working to some degree.
Not true. I've only voted tactically over the last three years. Prior to that my vote was open to anyone. My vote has always been open to the Greens, however, over the last three years, the Green party I believe has been remain in the EU. The very EU that is for freedom of movement which really 'flys' in the face of what Extinction Rebellion stand against. Obviously we could do a Piskie pie in the sky and talk about electric planes, but wake me up, when they can transport the masses. Like Labour, Conservative or Lib Dems, my vote was up for grabs prior to Brexit, unfortuanetly Greens never did enough to catch my attention. They left that to ER and Greta.
