Don't usually have a beer night on a school night. But **** it, I'm my own boss and he says I can have a lay in tomorrow morning :)

Not quite as bad as that, but did a 12 mile cycle and on the way back to civilisation cycled past a few people having BBQ and beers so thought I'd nip into the coop and get 3 big bottles of Peroni ...

Must be something in the water. Even I had a midweek beer last night. Cycled 8 miles to office and ran 5k on lunchbreak.

25 minutes conditioning on lunchbreak today. Then cycle home and one hour of core/plyometrics tonight

I just got the waft of BBQ smells and the clunk/chink sound beer bottles as I was coming back into town after my ride and thought, **** it, I'm having some of that.

Won't make a habit of that on a school night though.

My spin class got cancelled last night so just hit the weights. Can’t force myself to do cardio for the sake of it by myself.

Doing a 30 minute ‘sprint’ spin class at lunchtime today rather than the evening classes of 45-60. Sounds horrible.

Even had a midweek ciggy last night, very unusual.

In party zone atm though; three weekends of festivaling in a row :)

    I like running.

My spin classes are 40 mins including warm down. 60 mins must be killer.

Can't remember if it was you or Blueman who said you're gonna be boshing the class A's on the festival circuit ?

That's not for me anymore. But I am keen to go and pick some shrooms this autumn.

That’s with the warm down and up. Think I get more out of the 45 minutes being more sprints and less climbing.

  11. I’m going for a 30 mins waddle, this evening.

    I've done no cardio.

Essentially my gym membership expired end of July but the barriers are open to one section of the gym at the moment.(international modern pentathlon is on so they have free access to some room or other)

So, I either pay to have use of full gym, running machines etc., or I sneak into this annex bit, which is mainly free weights.

    I choose the latter!

There are rowing machines though so might do a bit of that later, if I can be arsed.

I'd like to learn how to row correctly, I've never really enjoyed it.

Had to stop training a few weeks ago as my lower back was ****ed again. Today I finally felt like it wouldn't be agony to go for a run. Did a short intervals session. Was hard work. Back still isn't ****ed though so high hopes for tomorrow!

Right, anyone use or have been to one of these Xcercise4less gyms?

Need somewhere cheap to go where I'm now working and I'm only going to stay away twice a week, so will only go twice a week.

They look like they'll be my idea of a nightmare, full of roid heads and fat birds, but I'm not paying top money to use somewhere nine times a month, tops.

The alternative is go for a run but its it's just entering the darkest time of the year so, you know, **** that.

I used something similar at work a few years back in a similar situation. I think it depends on the area really. Can you not use pay as you gym/train or whatever it’s called and trial it for a few sessions before you commit?
