I don't think that's necessarily true, and I don't think it necessarily matters either. I think there is a certain genetic influence or propensity to become gay or not, but there is more to it than that... I think personal life experiences influence people. There are certainly enough people put there whose sexual orientations change over their life that I think we're more sexually malleable than what people lead us to believe. Those gay conversion clinics are probably bull... It's not something you can consciously change... But people's kinks, fetishes, and even orientations can change over their lifetimes. I think it's irrelevant if someone is born gay or become gay through experiences though. It really doesn't matter if two people have gay sex with each other.
