    Her indoors made a massive vat of it yesterday. I got into late from the quiz at my local last night. However, she took a bowl over to the new landlord this afternoon and he described it as 'awesome' <laugh>

    There's something about a stew that just feels nice. Like being wrapped in Warm blankets or something, good comfort food for the soul.

    Absolutely, used to make a huge pot of it during the winter, enough for at least 3 days. I always wondered why I never had guests on the forth day? <whistle>

    done a cheesy mash, with a big pan off mince, onions, mushrooms, carrots etc.

    lots off herbs, black pepper, oxo cubes, plenty of worcester sauce, a splodge of brown sauce. Bit of bisto.

    been simmering for a while now.
