Who are you trying to convince? Any Remainer will agree with every word you posted and every Leaver will dispute every word. They read like facts but they are opinion and supposition. Just today an EU official has called for an EU army. The new EU President is pro closer unity so all of us sitting on the outside will either have to get with the program or become marginalised. Are you so blinkered that you can't see where this project is going? Since you voted to cede power to Brussels, and don't for a second question that is what remaining is, you should be dancing in the streets at the thought of getting the Euro, sacking all our politicians and Civil Service (I'd actually agree with that) and bowing to the will of whoever is appointed by Brussels to manage our island. Remaining is not just staying as we are, it's buying into the project. If you don't know what the end game is then you should think very carefully about what you are giving away. I don't need an MEP, I have an MP. There is no other free trade area anywhere in this world that demands what the EU do of it's members. A government A High Court Free movement Regulatory alignment in everything whether or not you sell to the single market Pay loads of money for access (us at least) And you can't leave! It's not a club, it's a cult!
And for Guardian readers. De Gaulle understood the British: https://www.theguardian.com/world/1967/nov/28/eu.france
How is leaving the EU club gonna make your trip to France worse ? it isn't gonna add another 30 miles or whatever is it, unless we're thinking of towing our Island further away from mainland Europe and every time I go to Spain, France or anywhere abroad I have to go through passport control so what is gonna change for you?
Absolutely right. It's like if you want to leave the EU you want to leave Europe. I want to do everything we can do now but I don't want to be a part of their project. It's the EU that are putting all the barriers up.
No one I’ve given up a long time ago. It just amuses me. All the ‘opinions’ have references by the way.
"We won 2 World Wars - we'll be fine. I say opinions because you won't find anyone who voted leave because they think we'll be fine because we won 2 World Wars. Within the explanation, the longer explanation, it says that we need to stand with our allies in the EU to face up to the USA, Russia and China. I'm sorry but what a load of bolox! If you go outside the boogie man will get you. Someone has obviously spent a lot of time on it but I assume you agree that he is looking from just one side? Still no one has addressed my question about what you are signing up for by remaining. No one talks about it because the media are strongly pro remain. Just like we haven't heard Jo Swinson get the kind of crap Boris does for her non declaration of interest.
As I said previously, our trade with the EU is going nowhere and even though we're handcuffed our trade with the non EU is growing. https://www.ons.gov.uk/businessindu...ectives2016tradewiththeeuandbeyond/2016-05-25 You may be doing well within the EU but the UK isn't.
Interesting local poll, crewe & Nantwich is a Labour marginal, which voted I think 55% ish for leave. Our MP who claims to want Brexit has generally voted against it, although is one of a group of Labour MPs panicking about losing her seat and have written to the EU telling them they must deliver on Brexit.Anyway someone started a Facebook Crewe & Nantwich poll, the result so far 80% for no deal Brexit, think remains going to get hammered in a GE.
Which ones, the turkeys Geoffrey Cox referred to in his commons speech that won't be able to prevent xmas
